On May 31, Legacy Recordings, a Sony Music Entertainment division, will release Willie Nelson's new studio album "The Border" in all configurations.
Digital downloads, CDs, and black vinyl records of Willie Nelson's The Border will soon be on sale.
At the same time, an orange vinyl LP version of "The Border" will be available at Barnes & Noble, and via Willie's direct-to-consumer store, fans can get their hands on an exclusive vinyl version that comes with a 12" x 12" lyric book that features the album's stunning artwork, extensive listening notes written by renowned writer Mikal Gilmore, and photos taken by Pamela Springsteen.
"The Border" Inclusions
Willie Nelson's 75th solo studio album will be released, about a month after his 91st birthday. Willie Nelson's 152nd career album, "The Border," will include "10 newly recorded Willie Nelson studio performances," which include the recently released title single.
Willie's newest album, which Buddy Cannon produced, will have four brand-new original songs that Willie and Buddy wrote together.

Willie already released two studio albums last year: "Bluegrass" and "I Don't Know a Thing About Love." His successful 2023 coincided with his successful 2022, during which he won the Grammy Award for Best Country Album for "A Beautiful Time."

Furthermore, Willie will be the main attraction at the Outlaw Music Festival this summer, which also includes legendary performers like Allison Krauss, Bob Dylan, and Robert Plant.

The announcement of Willie Nelson's upcoming album comes the same day that the legendary country music performer will be hosting his yearly Luck Reunion festival in Spicewood, Texas.
The festival will feature performances by Jon Oates, Toadies, Madi Diaz, Evan Honer, Rainbow Girls, Tyler Childers, and Daniel Donato's Cosmic Country, among others. Nugs.net is offering a live feed of the festival.
