Jelly Roll shared his candid and unfiltered thoughts about his numerous tattoos during a video interview with GQ, emphasizing that he regrets getting about 98% of his body art, especially the one on his neck.

The country star showed the camera his neck tattoo, which is supposed to read "Surviving the Struggle," but instead, it is missing a letter.

"But we had forgot to put the 'T' in it, so it said, 'Surviving the Sruggle,'" Jelly Roll said. "The sruggle."

That was not the only struggle the "Son of a Sinner" hitmaker had to endure thanks to his tattoos; he also explained how he had new work done on top of old tattoos to cover them up.

Jelly Roll Regrets Getting Tattooed?

In the interview, Jelly Roll revealed that he regrets having most of his tattoos before chastising himself.

"I regret 98% of these tattoos. 97% - almost all of them," he admitted. "Like, core philosophies that I rooted my life in when I was 17, and now I'm 40, I'm like, 'What the f**k was I thinking?'"

While the GQ video was supposed to showcase his most notable and special tattoos, he reflected on his decisions. He claims that he "hates them all."

However, he likes one tattoo that still holds significance to him: the cross tattoo on his face.

"It was symbolic of kind of a new beginning, understanding that I need to bear my own cross," he explained.

Jelly Roll Jokes About His Tattoos

Despite admitting that he regrets the majority of his body art, the "Bottle and Mary Jane" singer likes to poke fun at his tattoos.

According to Billboard, the country singer starred in a Super Bowl ad for Uber Eats, in which he forgot about his face tattoos.

After closing his medicine cabinet, he was confronted with his face covered with tattoos and left flabbergasted.

"What happened to my face?" He cries. "Are these tattoos?"

As of this writing, Jelly Roll has not expressed whether he plans to get his tattoos removed.

As per the Mayo Clinic, tattoo removal includes laser surgery, surgical removal, and dermabrasion. The process is complicated and expensive.

The website noted that removing the tattoo would take more than inking on the skin.
