Ariana Grande's Nickelodeon days seem to be disturbing, to say the least.

The actress turned singer has already made a name for herself before she started releasing chart-topping music and performing on sold-out concerts.

She's already a teen actress in Nickelodeon's "Victorious" and "Sam & Cat" in Nickelodeon.

Along with other teen actors at the time, many claimed that Grande was sexualized by show creator Dan Schneider multiple times on the show. The new Discovery documentary "Quiet On Set: The Dark Side Of Kids TV" shows examples of the shocking encounters.

Ariana Grande 'Sexualized' In Nickelodeon

As the pilot episode of the Discovery documentary series "Quiet On Set: The Dark Side Of Kids TV" aired, many were shocked to learn how blatant and obvious the sexual innuendos were on some of Dan Schneider's children's television series in the past. (via The Mirror)

Among the series Schneider created, wrote, or produced back then were "iCarly," "Victorious," "Sam & Cat," "Henry Danger," "Drake & Josh," and even "Zoey 101." He was responsible for the early fame of artists like Miranda Cosgrove, Nathan Kress, Jamie Lynn Spears, Victoria Justice, Leon Thomas III, Avan Jogia, Matt Bennett, Jeanette McCurdy, Elizabeth Gillies, and even Ariana Grande.

In some scenes featured in the debut episode, it shows Grande putting her hand down on her throat, sucking her toes, and pouring water on her chest and head while lying upside down. The scenes may be seen as comical or funny when viewed by children, but mature eyes indeed see some sexual innuendos peppered throughout it.

In another clip, Grande was even "milking" a potato while making moaning noises, which many now realize to be a very sensual act.

Grande has remained close with her "Victorious" friends and castmates, but she has primarily departed from her iconic character and the checkered history with the showrunners.

Dan Schneider Denies Allegations

Since the mountain of allegations piled up, Dan Schneider has denied all wrongdoings and claims.

"Remember, all stories, dialogue, costumes, and makeup were fully approved by network executives on two coasts. A standards and practices group read and ultimately approved every script, and programming executives reviewed and approved all episodes," he said in a statement, as quoted by The Hollywood Reporter. "In addition, every day on every set, there were always parents and caregivers and their friends watching filming and rehearsals."

In the statement, he pointed out that "everything that happened" on set was "carefully scrutinized" by dozens of adults and even approved by the network.

He emphasized, "Had there been any scenes or outfits that were inappropriate in any way, they would have been flagged and blocked by this multilayered scrutiny."
