Even though Bruno Mars has not personally addressed the debt issues he's presently embroiled in, MGM already spoke up on his behalf.

Social media was buzzing after reports emerged that Bruno Mars owes MGM International around $50 million in casino debt.

So far, the Grammy-winning singer has yet to respond to the allegations, but the conglomerate has since dismissed them.

MGM International Denies Bruno Mars Casino Debt

MGM Resorts International has since cleared the air to Variety, stating the allegations that Bruno Mars has a whopping $50 million debt with them are "completely false."

"We're proud of our relationship with Bruno Mars, one of the world's most thrilling and dynamic performers," they clarified in a statement.

"From his shows at Dolby Live at Park MGM to the new Pinky Ring lounge at Bellagio, Bruno's brand of entertainment attracts visitors from around the globe. MGM and Bruno's partnership is longstanding and rooted in mutual respect," it further claimed.

"Any speculation otherwise is completely false; he has no debt with MGM. Together, we are excited to continue creating unforgettable experiences for our guests," the statement concluded. It remains to be seen how Bruno Mars will be responding to these malicious allegations thrown at him.

News Nation sources revealed that Bruno Mars' relationship with MGM has since gone sour as his gambling problems became a problem again.

"(MGM) basically own him," the source told the media outlet. "He makes $90 million a year off of the deal he did with the casino, but then he has to pay back his debt... after taxes (Mars makes $1.5 million per night). Ninety million after taxes is closer to $60 million, for those who were wondering."

In 2016, Mars inked a long-term contract with MGM International through various performances on their different resorts. He opened The Pinky Ring, a lounge at the Bellagio in Las Vegas, last February 2024.

The same outlet also revealed that Anderson .Paak and Bruno Mars' feud "is over." Silk Sonic's internal conflict stemmed from "money" because .Paak "wanted more," but it's unclear if that disagreement caused the duo to withdraw their Grammy consideration in 2022.

Mars has publicly confessed to being involved with gambling at a young age. He also revealed that he even had to pay rent through playing in casinos before he shot to fame with his music career.

In a 2013 GQ interview, he talked about his heyday in gambling in Los Angeles.

"I used to be like a loudmouth. You know the guy, people would want to take his money. If you do get them to lose, they're out for you, they're gunning for you," he recalled. "And that's when they're weak. And that's when you jump or pounce on them."
