Professional ballerina Misty Copeland gave an unforgettable performance on stage with Taylor Swift in 2019, and the dancer revealed in a recent interview her candid opinion about what it was like working with the superstar.

Speaking on this week's episode of Who's Talking to Chris Wallace, Copeland recalled the American Music Awards of that year, where she danced alongside Swift following the singer's acceptance of the Artist of the Decade award. Towards the end of a nearly 12-minute mashup of Swift's biggest hits over the years, Copeland helped close out the set with a striking ballet accompaniment to Swift's "Lover."

Like many others who have spoken out about working with Swift, Copeland had nothing but good things to say.

"You know, I have to say that Taylor Swift was one of the most humble, down to earth [people]," Copeland told host Chris Wallace. "You know she spent hours and hours just hanging out with me and my dance partner, Craig Hall, before the performances and was just so invested."

Copeland, who has also worked with Prince, additionally told Wallace the experience was "incredible" and that she enjoys performing on different stages due to her feeling that it is "important for ballet to be seen by a wide range of people."

Appreciation for Swift's dedication to her craft is express by many of her musical peers, as well. Country superstar Kenny Chesney recently spoke with USA Today for an interview where he shared his first impressions of the pop star.

"To see what she did with that and the person she is now and the artist she is now and the creator that she is now - it is unbelievable what she has become," he said.

Chesney also admitted that he had no idea the global impact Swift would eventually command as an entertainer. Speaking to the outlet, he recalled telling his promoter that Swift was "going to be something one day," but he was surprised that she would "help bring the world together" with her talent.
