Sabrina Carpenter's music career has taken off significantly since she was invited to perform as an opening act on Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour in South America, Australia, and Asia.
Now, Carpenter raves about the friendship she has formed with the global pop star and reveals what she felt while performing on the road with her.
Sabrina Carpenter Gushes About Taylor Swift Friendship
Speaking to Cosmopolitan, Sabrina Carpenter talks about the ultimate job - touring with Taylor Swift on The Eras Tour.
Carpenter notably started opening for Taylor Swift in South America in 2023. Her biggest gig yet continued as Swift trekked to Japan, Australia, and finally, Singapore, where they performed for six days.
According to Carpenter, she feels "so genuinely lucky" to spend time and make memories with Swift, whom she has idolized since she was younger.
"I get to perform a set that I'm super comfortable with, and then I get to watch one of the greatest performers every night," she added.

Talking more about the magic of The Eras Tour, Carpenter compared it to being like a "Broadway show." (via Cosmopolitan)
"It almost feels like a Broadway show because everything is so synchronized, but at the same time feels so in the moment," Carpenter went on to say. "That's an art. It's really hard to teach. It's really hard to learn. And I feel so lucky that I get to watch Taylor perform every time. It makes me want to tour the world again, which is a good feeling."
This wasn't the first time that Sabrina Carpenter talked about fondly of the Grammy-winning singer. In an Instagram post, she thanked Swift for witnessing "the magic that is you and this tour."
"that's a wrap for us on the eras tour," she wrote on Instagram. "sitting at home reflecting on what a whirlwind this was and how very honored i feel to have been part of it. I want to thank every crowd for being so welcoming and generous to us and making some of the most impressive friendship bracelets I've ever received. also a huge thank you to the incredible crew for being so hardworking and talented."
When Taylor Swift returns on tour on May 9, 2024, in Europe, Paramore will open for Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour. The alt-rock pop band will be Swift's opener until the end of her Europe leg.
