After several years of being despised by fans of The Real Housewives of Orange County this season Vicki Gunvalson's boyfriend, Brooks Ayers, seemed to find himself on steadier footing. He managed to get along with other cast members and along with Vicki he often came across almost as a voice of reason. Quite a turnaround from even a year ago when the whole RHOC cast was rallying against him! Unfortunately new video has dropped of Brooks in a Vegas hotel room dishing up several dirty details on his life, including the idea that one of his fights with Vicki got physical.
A business associate decided to videotape Brooks after a few drinks and the 'businessman' starting to divulge all kinds of financial worries- such as owing his ex-wife tons in child support and he complained about only making a little over $17 grand to appear on the Bravo show compared the nice paycheck that Vicki receives. Brooks also admitted to hiring hookers when out of town but probably by far the most damaging admission is his account of a drunken fight that they had.
Apparently according to Brooks he and Vicki were out partying when another man grabbed her and instead of going after the guy, Brooks admits he mishandled her instead, saying on camera,
"I was mad and I was wrong... and that's the only source of violence they have seen me do. The only thing I have ever done with Vicki. When I just came out of this bathroom and we were in this place and I saw a guy grab her a**. And I came up and said, 'What the hell?!'" he continues, "And she said, 'It's not big deal.' And I said, 'Yes it is a big deal.' And I was wrong, there is never a right, wrong, or excuse to ever to touch a woman, particularly in public or private, ever! So I'll own that. But it was never a hit or a slap."
During a reunion show for The Real Housewives of Orange County last year Vicki's daughter had claimed that Brooks was violent with her mother. At the time she minimized and downplayed everything claiming that Brooks was never anything less than a gentleman in her presence. We have to wonder how she's going to react to this incident being made public by her on/off man.
