SBTRKT's new album, Wonder Where We Land, features a handful of collaborations, each with a different feel. We've already heard the bubbly Big Apple tribute "New Dorp. New York" featuring Vampire Weekend's Ezra Koenig, the soulful Sampha-aided "Temporary View," the Warpaint-assisted "War Drums," the tight, atmospheric "Higher" featuring MC Raury, and the menacing "Voices In My Head" featuring A$AP Ferg and Warpaint. Now we see the UK producer (born Aaron Jerome) teaming up with Chairlift's Caroline Polacheck on the track "Look Away."
The track arrives on his website alongside an interactive video that allows the user to enable their webcam in an attempt to catch the gaze of shadowy figure, who tries to glance back.
"Look away, look away, look away, she was never yours for the having," Polacheck sings over ominous piano loops and skittish drums, fitting in tone with the track's visuals.
