Two Gallaghers will perform on stage as part of the upcoming Definitely Maybe 30th anniversary tour, however not because Noel and Liam Gallagher have finally reunited.

It's what fans would have wanted - but it's not happening yet.

Liam Gallagher thinks this is the next best thing though.

Liam Gallagher Doing Oasis Tour with Another Gallagher

Frontman Liam of Oasis has enlisted his son Gene's band Villanelle to open for the rockers on their next tour, which begins in Sheffield in June.

The band will play the whole Definitely Maybe album as well as a few B-sides. Noel, Liam's 56-year-old brother, has consistently declined to rejoin Oasis since the band's 2009 breakup, thus he is still not taking part.

Villanelle, with 22-year-old Gene on guitar and vocals, has been playing throughout Glasgow, including King Tut's, where Oasis signed with Creation records.

Liam, 51, stated he will at least retain some parts of the next tour inside the family and that he believes the band is "good." He said, "I'm gonna put them on 1st for DM tour."

Last month, Liam claimed that Noel had turned down a "huge financial offer" to get the group back together once more.

"He ain't doing it. I did call him! Well, my people called Noel's management team. We put an offer on the table for an Oasis thing - because we got offered it - and he said no," he revealed.

"It was a big tour, a lot of money. He turned it down. I get it, he's got a divorce going down. I'll do the 'Definitely Maybe' thing and have a nice time without him," he also said.

Noel Gallagher, Liam Gallagher Still Not Talking

The two had been at odds for more than ten years, almost fifteen.

Noel left the band after a heated altercation between the two occurred behind closed doors at the 2009 Rock En Seine festival in Paris.

While on tour with Birmingham outfit Overpass, Gene's group Villanelle is said to be playing Britpop-influenced music.

Model Gene was formerly a member of the three-piece combo Grimmo. Her mother is singer Nicole Appleton of All Saints.

In addition, Liam is the father of two models: Molly Moorish, 26, from a prior relationship with Lisa Moorish, and Lennon Gallagher, 24, from his marriage to Patsy Kensit.

Meanwhile, Noel Gallagher has his own music career still going on.

Noel Gallagher and his High Flying Birds published their album Council Skies back in 2023, which is fantastic news for readers and music bloggers alike because it provided Gallagher more platforms to promote his garbage.

Gallagher then released a new song in January 2024, or at least the demo version of the song, to follow that album.

Noel Gallagher's new song, "In A Little While," is an acoustic ballad that doesn't seem to feature many other members of the High Flying Birds.

The song's publicly available version is clearly identified as a demo, and it is undoubtedly a low-fidelity, silent version.
