Most people are retired far before the age of 80, but Leonard Cohen is not a normal person. The legendary singer-songwriter will hit the big 8-0 on Sept. 21, and he's celebrating by releasing a new album Popular Problems two days after he hits the landmark age. But now, ahead of both Cohen's birthday and the Sept. 23 album release date, Popular Problems is available to stream in full.

Clocking in at a swift 36 minutes with nine new songs, Popular Problems is now available on SoundCloud courtesy of The Guardian.

Cohen's voice is as grasping and raspy as ever, as he explores the concepts of age, life and more in the opening track "Slow," which then carries throughout the rest of the album.
