Vanessa Williams always had a leg to stand on -- now she has a dance single about them, too.

The boppy new track, titled "Legs," will be released on Friday, April 26. It marks her first new music release in 15 years. The Ugly Betty star took to social media to share a teaser for the music video, during which she sports a sheer, bedazzled jumpsuit.

The visual finds Williams in a dance club, surrounded by a crew of backup dancers and, of course, showing off her slim legs.

The lyrics prove that, even at 61 years old, the show business veteran can still put on a show, singing: "They say the legs are the last to go / Imma keep dancin' / I'm still puttin' on a show / Imma keep dancin' / 'Til I can't do it no more / I go where they take me."

Another sequence in the preview shows Williams getting down with a group of hunky male dancers. Wearing a pair of bright red pants and stiletto heels, she shows off her own choreography skills.

The former Miss America first announced the single through an Instagram post, saying that she called her old favorite collaborators, knowing the time was right to get back to work.

"Finally my new music is coming out! Been 15 years since the last album but the time is right. Get ready for the first single 'LEGS,'" she captioned the teaser. "Called my old team up who've been creating with me for years."

She went on to say that she's "still kicking" as she revs up for a new musical era: "Still here, still standing , still kicking in fact ... about to give 'em Hell again," the former model concluded her caption.

The new single is seemingly leading to the release of a full-length album, as Williams has already completed her second music video for this new chapter. She shared a photo of herself on set, surrounded by candles and she looks up at a light. "BTS ~Second video shoot complete. Feeling the Zen in the moonlight," she said on Instagram. The single drops in May, according to her Instagram story.

Re-embarking on her music career seems to be a popular decision for Williams, as several social media posts generate excitement. RuPaul's Drag Race host Michelle Visage took to the comments to share her excitement, along with Nick Ede, Debra Martin Chase, and Vinegar Strokes.

The promo also went viral on X, with more fans anticipating Williams' return to music by sharing the video.

"Vanessa Williams putting out dance music on Friday and moving like that at 61! Dua [Lipa] you in danger girl," one X user joked.

"I've loved Miss Vanessa Williams (it's miss because she's a legend of honor and I will respect her as such!) since the day I saw her as a kid," another X profile said. "She's always been gorgeous, gracious, eloquent, and her energy is truly the colors of the wind. I'm ready."

The Desperate Housewives alum released her debut album, The Right Stuff, in 1988. She released seven more full-length records, and had a No. 1 hit with 1991's "Save the Best for Last." Her most recent album, The Real Thing, came out in 2009.

"Legs" comes ahead of the Emmy-winner's return to the stage as she takes on the role of Miranda Priestly in Elton John's musical adaptation of The Devil Wears Prada. A recent trailer shows Williams harkening back to her Ugly Betty role of Wilhelmina Slater as she takes on the Anna Wintour-inspired role that Meryl Streep famously played on screen.
