Gunna has been accused of snitching Young Thug after he took a plea to evade a RICO trial in 2023.

The "fukumean" rapper turned himself in to the police in 2022 with Thugger as they were being charged by a 56-count RICO Act indictment filed by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis.

Gunna Admits He Feels The Love For Young Thug Amid Snitching Allegations

Speaking to XXL magazine, Gunna, formally known as Sergio Kitchens, shared how his relationship had been with Young Thug.

Per Gunna, he believes that the public has been "misled" about the whole situation, with many alleging that he has "snitched" Young Thug by taking a plea deal.

"It's the same. It's love, always. Our relationship is our relationship," he assured.

The interviewer even asked about the likes of Lil Durk, 21 Savage, and Lil Baby, who has since thrown shots at him for throwing shots at Gunna for allegedly snitching Thugger.

"None of those rappers, they're not on the case. They don't know legally what's going on," he revealed, saying that he has spoken to them, even describing that he's "peacefully" on good terms with them. "I talked to like, maybe like, two or three of those guys. I talked to them on the phone."

Expounding how the narrative has misconstrued people into thinking that he has thrown his brother under the bus, Gunna had this to say:

"I definitely feel like everybody's been misled. And like, you know, when you're being misled, you got a choice to follow or make your own decisions. And that's what is being shown right now. You're being a follower or you're being neutral to be like, "I don't know what their business is or what they really got goin' on.""

Young Thug Trial

Young Thug, formally known as Jeffery Williams, has been accused of running a covert Atlanta gang called "Young Slime Life," masked by his record label/music collective called "Young Stoner Life."

A grand jury indictment was served in May 2022, accusing the rapper of committing murders, drug dealing, and carjackings, among other felonies. Notably, the biggest one of them is conspiring to violate the RICO Act in Atlanta.

Since then, the district attorney has cracked down on using Thugger's song lyrics to show the pattern of evidence that the crimes committed were mirrored in the songs he released.
