Riley Keough cemented her place as a living legacy of both Elvis Presley and Lisa Marie Presley when she breathed life into Taylor Jenkins Reid's most famous character, Daisy Jones.

After the success of Daisy Jones and the Six in streaming, Keough finally reveals if there is a season 2 on the well-received drama-musical miniseries.

Riley Keough Reveals 'Daisy Jones & the Six' Season 2 Status

Speaking to Variety, Keough revealed that she "hasn't heard anything" yet about a season 2 for the well-beloved Amazon Prime original streaming series.

"I would love to but I don't know if it's in the cards," the actress said.

Fans have since clamored and expressed interest in a follow-up for Daisy Jones & the Six after its masterful adaptation from book to screen in 2023.

The adaptation stars Keough, who played Jones, while Sam Claflin played Billy Dune. Camilla Morrone, Suki Waterhouse, Will Harrison, Josh Whitehouse, and Sebastian Chacon comprised the remaining members of the 1970s rock band that seemed to loosely pattern Fleetwood Mac and their story.

The show received rave reviews and fan approval. Many praised Keough and Claflin for their amazing acting and singing performances.

Keough was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie. At the same time, Morrone received a nod for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie.

The show was also nominated for five Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards and won two: Outstanding Period Costumes for a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie and Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie.

'Daisy Jones & the Six' Season 2 Possible?

Following the success of the hit drama-musical series, Daisy Jones & the Six showrunners revealed that they're open to the idea of developing more seasons despite the absence of a sequel to Reid's original material.

"I think that would be amazing," showrunner Scott Neustadter told the publication in 2023. "If people are interested in this story and these people, maybe we'll get an opportunity to do that. Leave the door open. Why not? If people enjoy what you're doing and want more of it, that's not a bad problem."
