Will Axl Rose release a solo project?

Guns N' Roses members have been sharing their solo endeavors as they remain out of the spotlight as the band. After Duff McKagan announced his 2024 solo tour, Rose hyped fans with his recent update.

Axl Rose Surprises Fans With New Update

Guns N' Roses and Rose's fans noticed the creation of the frontman's website, hinting at a potential solo project.

The page in question has a moving background featuring an almost transparent video of Rose performing. It also shows three photos of the singer and the text, "You gotta learn to live and run, or you'll die trying," in all caps.

In the upper right corner, the page has a menu button that hovers the tabs Home, About, News and Gallery as the options.

The About button reads, "UNMISTAKABLE VOCAL STYLE, HE HAS CARVED OUT A LEGENDARY STATUS IN THE ROCK HISTORY."

It also has the description, "Born William Bruce Rose Jr. on February 6, 1962, in Lafayette, Indiana, Axl rose to fame as the lead vocalist and primary songwriter of Guns N' Roses, a band that rose to prominence in the late 1980s with their debut album 'Appetite for Destruction.'"

Meanwhile, the whole website's name is set to "W. Axl Rose."

The official Instagram of Appetite for Distortion has also shared a poster similar to the site's page.

What Will Axl Rose Release?

While Rose did not confirm what he would do next, his fans left comments and tried to suggest a project for the frontman - including a book.

One said, "We need a 'A Dance with Dragons' sized Ax Rose autobiography sized book at the minimum!!!"

"I'd love to see a poetry book. Or a biography... That would be something as well," a second wrote.

One commented that it would be a memoir and book signing events, though some Instagram users said the news has yet to be confirmed.

The news came after Rose filed a motion to dismiss the 1989 sexual assault case against him. He denied all the allegations former model Sheila Kennedy claimed in her 2023 filing, adding the Penthouse's Pet of the Year in 1983 "repeatedly acknowledged" that he never sexually assaulted her - contradicting her latest claims.
