Michael Anthony and David Lee Roth go way back, as they were former bandmates for the band Van Halen. However, the bassist revealed that they haven't spoken in years; is he willing to reunite with him on the big stage soon?

In a video recorded in March but recently posted online, Anthony admitted that he and Roth have yet to speak to one another for a long time.

Recalling the last time they interacted, he said it was about a potential reunion, and he thinks it's "really crazy" that he doesn't have any updates about Jason Newsted coming to do a tour.

"That was probably the last time I talked to Dave. That was - God, I don't know - about a few years ago now. I forget - something like that," he said. (via Blabbermouth)

Are David Lee Roth, Michael Anthony in Good Terms?

Even though they have never interacted over the past few years, it seems that the two are still good friends, and there are no issues surrounding their friendship.

"Dave's kind of a crazy guy... It's hard to explain Dave. We don't have enough time. But, no, other than that, no. I mean, I don't have anything against Dave," Michael said.

Regarding whether he's willing to reunite with the musician on the big stage in the future, Michael said he's willing to jam with him.

He even recalled a time when they almost surprised Roth on stage, saying he initially planned to attend his friend's House of Blues residency in Las Vegas, but he never got the chance to do it due to his conflicting schedule.

Is Van Halen Reuniting Anytime Soon?

The bassist has a good relationship with another Van Halen singer, Sammy Hagar. They have already worked on several projects outside their original band, which included Chickenfoot and the Circle.

This year, the two are set to embark on a world tour with Jason Bonham and Satriani, which they consider a dedication to Van Halen's music.

Regarding a future reunion for Van Halen, Michael said he and Hagar have been discussing a potential reunion because they last took the stage 20 years ago.

"We obviously can't wait much longer. Sammy's an old man now. But we didn't wanna wait any longer," he added. (via Loudwire)

If the reunion happens in the future, the band will be incomplete as Ed Van Halen unfortunately passed away.
