Sure, Christmas is still three months away but that doesn't mean we can't start getting excited, right? It's been reported by Rolling Stone that former Hootie & the Blowfish frontman turned country star Darius Rucker is releasing a Christmas album titled Home for the Holidays.

And so it seems, we have Sheryl Crow to thank for giving us news of this early Christmas gift.

Crow reportedly posted a photograph of herself and Rucker to her official Facebook page alongside the caption "I love Darius Rucker – Merry Christmas Baby! (I sang on his upcoming Christmas record!)"

Home for the Holidays will be available this coming Oct. 27 and will house some holiday classics such as "Baby It's Cold Outside" (which will feature Crow), "White Christmas" and "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" along with a couple of original tracks –– "What God Wants for Christmas" and "Candy Cane Christmas."

On the new album, Rucker told RS, "I am so excited to finally make a Christmas album. This has been a lifelong dream, and I hope my fans enjoy listening as much as I enjoyed making it."
