It seems that the trend of throwing objects at musicians during concerts has yet to stop. Nicki Minaj is the latest victim of this fiasco. A mysterious item flew across the stage and almost hit the rapper. Instead of brushing it off, she threw it back to the audience.

According to XXL Mag, a video of the singer performing at her ongoing Pink Friday 2 World Tour is making rounds on social media.

In the clip, the rapper is seen performing her hit song "Starships" at her Detroit concert. In the middle of her performance, an object is seen coming in her direction.

Fortunately, the musician immediately saw it coming, and her reflexes worked, so she was able dodge the flying object.

The rapper didn't stop there as she was visibly mad about what happened, so she picked up the item and threw it back to the crowd, but it's unclear if the person she was aiming at was hit.

Not the First Artist to be a Victim of Flying Objects

The trend of throwing objects at artists started last summer, and one of the victims was Bebe Rexha, who took the stage on the Rooftop at Pier 17 in New York City.

At the time, the musician was performing when suddenly, a mobile phone flew across the stage hitting her on the face. Unfortunately, the pop singer sustained a black eye that she later shared on social media.

The assailant, Nicolas Malvagna, was arrested and charged with two counts of third-degree assault and second-degree aggravated harassment. In addition, he was charged with third-degree attempted assault and second-degree harassment.
