Fans have been worried about Celine Dion ever since she canceled her tour and revealed that she had been diagnosed with stiff-person syndrome, but fortunately, her family members, especially children, always have her back amid her health woes.

The musician recently appeared on the cover of Vogue France. In the interview, she gave fans an insight into her medical problem and revealed how she overcame her struggles.

When asked about what helps her deal with the diagnosis, she told the fashion magazine that her family and the support of her fans are the key.

"Above all, the love of my family and my children, and the love of the fans too, and the support of my team," She said.

The musician also acknowledged her privilege, adding, "People who suffer from SPS may not be lucky enough or have the means to have good doctors and good treatments. I have the means, this is a gift."

Celine Dion's Children

According to People Magazine, the "That's The Way It Is" hitmaker is a proud mother to three children: 23-year-old René Charles and 13-year-old twins Eddy and Nelson, all of whom she shares with her late husband, René Angeli.

Last year, an insider spoke with the outlet to reveal that her children became her "light" when she announced the cancelation of her tour dates due to her health diagnosis.

"Her main focuses are always her sons and performing. She is the most selfless and considerate person... Céline just loves her boys so much. They are amazing. They give her all the support and love that she needs," the source said.

Celine Dion Stiff-Person Syndrome

According to Business Insider, the French-Canadian chanteuse announced her health diagnosis in December 2022, saying the spasms affected her everyday life and caused difficulty with her mobility.

She also noted that it affected her singing as she couldn't sing the same way as she used to.

At the time, she assured her fans that she was doing her best to recover from stiff-person syndrome by working with doctors and sports-medicine therapists so that she could perform again in the future.

Unfortunately, Dion's health condition has no known cure, but patients with this health problem could use muscle relaxants and sedatives to manage their bodies.
