Post Malone just made guest appearances on two of the year's biggest albums (Beyonce's Cowboy Carter and Taylor Swift's The Tortured Poets Department) and appeared in the Road House reboot now streaming on Prime Video.

What does he have planned for an encore? On Tuesday (April 23), it was announced he's working on a graphic novel, set for publication in 2025, that is concurrently being developed into a feature film.

Post has teamed with filmmakers Michael Bay and Brad Fuller's Platinum Dunes and Vault Comics to bring his original story to print and film.

According to a statement, the story will blend elements of post-apocalyptic road movies like Mad Max: Fury Road and horror films such as Evil Dead, but in medieval Europe where an armored 18-wheeler does battle with a swarm of demons trying to take over the continent.

"I'm so pumped to share this badass story with the world, and I couldn't ask for better partners than Michael Bay and Vault to help bring this story to life," Post said in a statement.

Vault CEO Damian Wassel also shared his excitement about the plans. "This is the kind of project you dream about," he said in a statement. "We get to work with an exceptional artist at the top of his game to build a completely original story from the ground up. We have an iconic director helping to guide the creative development. We're going to bring the world a mind-blowing graphic novel, and that's just the beginning."

As for Bay, known for the Transformers and A Quiet Place films, he's also enthused about the project. "I love working with talented people, and Post Malone is incredibly gifted," he said in a statement. "I am excited to work with him on such an intriguing idea, and when you add Vault to the mix, it raises the bar to another level. This new IP is just what the graphic world needs right now."
