Kid Cudi's injury led to the cancellation of his scheduled tour.

Fan-taken videos from the Coachella 2024 showed Kid Cudi cutting his performance short after injuring himself when he jumped off stage and wrongly landed on one of his feet.

While he had his injury checked at a hospital, it was deemed "much more serious" than reported.

Kid Cudi Cancels Tour After Sustaining Injury

On X, Kid Cudi - born Scott Ramon Seguro Mescudi - shared a statement "from your friend, Scott [emojis] with mad love" as he announced the cancelation of his upcoming show.

"I have a broken calcaneus," he revealed on his X post. "I'm headed to surgery now and there's gonna be a long recovery time. We have to cancel the tour so I can focus on getting better to be out there in top shape to rage with you all."

Kid Cudi added in the statement, "We will be back with new tour dates as soon as possible, and I can't wait to get back out there with you guys and turn up how we do. I'm so sorry fam and I love you so much, thanks for the endless love and support. I'm really disappointed as I'm sure you guys are too, but I will be back. That's a promise."

In the post, the "Pursuit of Happiness" rapper also assured his fans he was in good spirits despite feeling a little sore from the injury. Check out the full post below:

What to Know About Kid Cudi's Canceled Insano Tour

Kid Cudi's upcoming tour, which was planned to support his ninth album, Insano, was scheduled to begin with the North American leg on July 28 at Moody Center in Austin, Tex.

The trek was expected to wrap up at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, Calif., on August 30.

He has yet to confirm the rescheduled dates, but fans who bought tickets for the following shows can refund their tickets following the announcement.
