News has just surfaced that Takeoff is set to appear on the highly anticipated Vultures 2 album by Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign.

In a recent episode of Justin LaBoy's The Download podcast, Ye shared that the long-awaited project is now scheduled for release on May 3, following several setbacks in the last couple of months.

Takeoff Posthumous Feature

Rolling Stone reported that an upcoming record will include a verse by the late Migos rapper in a track provisionally named "Allow Me to Relax."

As reported in the publication, Rich The Kid and NBA YoungBoy are both credited for their involvement in the song, which their source has highlighted as a standout track on the album.

In a noteworthy collaboration, Takeoff teamed up with the other members of Migos to work with a talented artist from Chicago on the track "We Did It Kid," featured on the highly anticipated album Donda 2 in 2022.

The album was exclusively available on Spotify players, leaving fans eagerly waiting for its release on streaming services.

After Takeoff's untimely death, the Yeezy mogul expressed his sympathy by sharing a photo on social media with the Migos from the album's listening event. In the post, he wrote "ETERNAL LOVE" and tweeted separately: "BONDED AS FAMILY."

"Vultures 2" Details

Additional information regarding Vultures 2 is still limited. However, speculations are ripe that the album might showcase a lineup of renowned artists similar to Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign.

These two artists presented a series of tracks involving top-tier performers during exclusive listening events held in Miami and Las Vegas the previous year.

Ye and Ty surprised fans in March by releasing a series of songs from their project through unconventional channels.

Rather than making the tracks available on mainstream streaming services like Spotify and Apple Music, they opted to share snippets of the record on platforms like TikTok and Instagram, leaving many listeners pleasantly surprised.

According to various fan pages, tracks like "River" with Young Thug and Leon Bridges and the Backstreet Boys-inspired "Everybody" were accessible for streaming on social media platforms. They could also be included as background music in posts.

Additional tracks that could be found on Vultures 2 included "Worship," "Promotion" with a feature from Future, "Slide" featuring James Blake, and "Field Trip," rumored to have contributions from Playboi Carti, Kodak Black, Lil Durk, and Don Toliver.

Following numerous setbacks, Vultures 1 finally debuted in early February and soared to the top of the Billboard 200 chart, amassing nearly 150,000 album-equivalent units in its inaugural week.

The album has garnered significant attention and praise, featuring collaborations with a star-studded lineup, including Travis Scott, Playboi Carti, Lil Durk, Chris Brown, and Quavo to name a few.
