Rick Ross, the king of the Maybach Music empire, channeled the original king of rock 'n' roll yesterday (Sept. 15) by releasing his new single "Elvis Presley Blvd." from his upcoming seventh studio album Hood Billionaire. Now, in true Ross style, he's released an accompanying music video, featuring a couple of runaway gangsters playing as Elvis and Priscilla Presley during a heist.

The music video for "Elvis Presley Blvd." begins with a news radio announcement (not unlike samples used on Ross' sixth studio album Mastermind), declaring two fugitives dressed as Elvis and Priscilla were on the run in Memphis. There's also some news about Ross' seventh studio album Hood Billionaire and a plug for his chicken wing restaurant Wing Stop, because of course there is.

Ross then proceeds to roll down Elvis Presley Blvd., as the song title promises, and hang out with the gangster Elvis and Priscilla, who are rolling in the money in a seedy hotel, because what else is there to do after you rob a bank? (According to movies, nothing!)

There are some odes to Memphis and Elvis in the music video, not just with flashes of the city and a cameo from guest artist (and Memphis native) Project Pat, but there's also some pretty solid shots of the "Elvis" being an impersonator and looking rather convincing.

"Elvis Presley Blvd." is the lead single from Ross' new album Hood Billionaire, which is due for release on Black Friday (Nov. 28).
