Britney Spears is not going broke despite reports' recent predictions and claims.

The pop singer, who has since been freed from the conservatorship established by her father, Jamie Spears, found herself managing her own money and accessing her $60 million estate. Two years after the ruling, sources claimed she has been "blowing" through her finances - but that does not seem to be the case.

Britney Spears Is Not Going Bankrupt

One insider told Page Six that Britney has "no concept of money" now that she is responsible for her own finances. This resonated with what a second source shared about her friends being "in a precarious position" because of her spending problems.

However, other sources dismissed the idea of witnessing the "Toxic" singer's financial downfall. Instead, they offered warnings to remind Britney about her spending habits and help her avoid losing her fortune.

"She's not broke, but she definitely could benefit from being more careful with her cash," one source told Page Six.

"Between flying private and booking five-star villas, it can get costly - fast," a second source said, referring to Britney's single trip to French Polynesia in 2023. A third added, "She is not going broke but should keep an eye on private jets."

The latter source debunked TMZ's "grossly exaggerated" report, claiming that Britney could be a few inches away from hitting rock bottom.

Britney Spears Is Still Earning Whopping Amount of Money

Although Britney has not released an album since August 2016 and has not toured since her last October 2018 trek, she has been earning through her other endeavors.

She collaborated with Elton John on the hit track "Hold Me Closer" and released her memoir, The Woman in Me, In October 2023. She reportedly earns "very significant" royalties from the book.

In addition, Britney does not need to settle the multimillion-dollar bill for her legal battle with Jamie after privately settling the conservatorship case privately.

"Her wish for freedom is now truly complete," Britney's lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, said in a statement to different news outlets. "As she desired, her freedom now includes that she will no longer need to attend or be involved with the court or entangled with legal proceedings in this matter."
