Daniel Bedingfield is slated to drop an unreleased collab with Mariah Carey. Interestingly, this is a work they have done more than two decades ago.

The singer, however, thinks it would be nice to see if the song can go viral in the modern age of social media.

The "If You're Not The One" singer revealed that he collaborated with the music legend on a ballad at the height of his popularity.

Bedingfield expressed how he felt during the years that the collab was kept a secret, saying, "It really burns a hole in my heart, just sitting there unreleased. The fans would love it."

Mariah Carey and Da Brat Unreleased Collab

Speaking of unreleased tracks, Mariah Carey also has one with Da Brat.

The music legend performed a snippet of an unreleased track in honor of the rapper's 50th birthday on April 14.

"It's driving me crazy, 'cause you're making me sad every minute," she crooned. "Cry every second/ Why should I, why should I, why should I keep hanging on?"

Da Brat, real name Shawntae Harris, was featured on several of the "We Belong Together" singer's songs, such as the remixes of Carey's "Heartbreaker," "Loverboy," and "Always Be My Baby," to mention a few.

The hip-hop pioneer replied to her well-known friend's message: "Oh Sug, I love you, MC. That was beautiful."

Mariah Carey's New Music

In December 2023, the 54-year-old artist said in an interview with Good Morning America that she has already returned to the studio, albeit it may be some time before fans hear any new music from her.

"There is new music on the horizon," the Grammy winner said in the interview.

The singer also revealed that she has "been working the past three, four weeks on just writing new songs."

The last time Carey released a full-length album of all new music was in 2018 with Caution.

Blood Orange, Gunna, Slick Rick, and Ty Dolla $ign collaborated with Carey on some tracks in this album.
