As Britney Spears navigates the aftermath of her official divorce from Sam Asghari, concerns arise among her inner circle about her well-being.

Recent headlines have intensified worries, with friends expressing fears that she may be withdrawing from the world and "imprisoning" herself in her mansion.

Among the various issues grabbing attention, a notable incident involving her new boyfriend, Paul Soliz, has added fuel to the media frenzy surrounding the pop icon, leading to questions on her present mental health.

Is Britney Spears' Split From Sam Asghari Taking a Toll on Her Health?

A source recently spoke with In Touch Weekly (via OK! Magazine), claiming that Spears' friends have been worried about her as things have gotten worse for her after her split from Asghari in July 2023. Per the insider, the breakup crushed her so much that she has been opting to stay at her estate as her "self-imposed prison."

"Everyone's worried Britney is spending too much time by herself in her mansion," said the source, who alleged that the mansion has not been in order since the split. "Britney roams around this huge, echoing home, gets bored, then acts out in these disturbing dance videos."

Spears and Asghari called it quits after over a year of marriage. They met on the set of her "Slumber Party" music video and started dating afterward.

The source's claims came after RadarOnline.com reported about her and Soliz's alleged physical altercation while at the Chateau Marmont. Authorities responded to a call on May 1 regarding a woman harassing and threatening employees and guests.

Cops later confirmed that the woman in question was Spears, and they responded due to a possible mental breakdown and an "injured person."

Britney Spears' Conservatorship Could Have Helped the Singer

Amid the issues, more sources claimed her conservatorship should never have ended as the program would have saved her from her mental distress.

The sources spoke to Page Six regarding the public's fears, saying that Spears' recent meltdowns were similar to what she showed in 2007 and 2008 before her 13-year conservatorship started.

"It was put in place because Britney has serious mental health issues and was going completely off the rails," one of the insiders said.

These incidents happened following reports regarding her alleged worsening mental state and dwindling finances.
