North West has just dropped the music video for her latest collaborative track "TALKING" featuring Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign. At the same time, the young musician is gearing up for a debut performance on one of California's most prestigious stages.

According to USA Today, Kim Kardashian's eldest daughter has been announced as one of the cast members of the upcoming "Lion King" concert, which will take place at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.

The event will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the 1994 animated movie and feature several performances from the original cast members, the 2019 remake, and the Broadway musical.

Aside from West, other musicians included in the lineup are Billy Eichner, Jeremy Irons, Ernie Sabella, Jason Weaver, Nathan Lane, and many more.

Jennifer Hudson, Lebo M, Bradley Gibson, and Heather Headley, along with a full orchestra, are also set to perform some of the most iconic songs from the movie.

The concert will be held on May 24 and 25, 2024, and fans will be able to stream the event on Disney+ at a later date, similar to what "Encanto" did in 2022.

In other updates about North West, the young singer spoke with Jazzy's World TV at the Rolling Loud festival, where she gave a few details about her debut album.

She revealed that her project will be titled "Elementary School Dropout," which seems to reference her dad's album, "The College Dropout."

Although West has no idea when the record will come out, she assured her fans that it's "going to be great."

Regarding "The Lion King" franchise, a prequel is set to be released later this year titled "Mufasa: The Lion King," which will feature star-studded cast members like Eichner as Timon, Seth Rogen as Pumbaa, Donald Glover as Simba, John Kani as Rafiki, Beyoncé as Nala, and many more.

Beyoncé's eldest daughter, Blue Ivy, is also among the voice actors for the film as she will take the role of the young lion cub named Kiara. (via Consequence)

"The chance meeting sets in motion an expansive journey of an extraordinary group of misfits searching for their destiny-their bonds will be tested as they work together to evade a threatening and deadly foe," the plot reads.

The movie will hit theaters on December 20, 2024.
