Olivia Rodrigo hopes that her fan is okay after a tattoo mishap.

In TikTok, user Grace Fleming reminded people to "ALWAYS double check the spelling" before getting a tattoo.

Fleming wanted to ink Rodrigo's poignant lyrics "hope you're ok" on her skin. Specifically, she wanted the line "Address the letters to the holes in my butterfly wings."

However, things may have gone wrong after seeing the result of her tattoo. It turns out she had a typo. Instead, the actual inked lyrics were "Address the letters to the holes in my butter wings."

In her caption, Fleming jokingly asked Rodrigo to change the lyrics of the Sour deep-cut song to make her feel better.

Rodrigo, who frequents TikTok, caught the post and commented on Fleming's video.

"HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAH OMG THIS IS THE NEW LYRIC IM CHANGING IT TO BUTTERWINGS," she commented.

Surprised with her idol's comments, Fleming reacted back: "SHUT UPP I LOVE U LIV CAN WE PLS BE FRIENDS."

Other Livvies consoled Fleming about the tattoo mishap, suggesting ways for her to bounce back from it.

"i must be an optimist cause i found like five ways to fix this. first one sounds silly but it'll be "fly" going down into the shape of a butterfly. *someone pls get the vision here*," one wrote.

"What if you get the fly coming down off the r like it's flying away idk it's pretty otherwise!" another emphasized.

Fleming then spoke to TODAY about the adorable encounter she had with the "bad idea, right" singer.

"Not changing it definitely makes it more unique and special. I kind of want to keep it, but also want to get the right lyrics. Maybe I'll keep this one, and get the right lyrics somewhere else," she said about her decision whether she wanted to have her tattoo changed or altered.

The 20-year-old fan explained why she chose the specific song lyric for a tattoo, sharing her interpretation.

"Everybody already has their own wounds or holes. So I take the (line), 'Address the letters to the holes of my butterfly wings,' (to say) if somebody's gonna say something mean, they can say it to me. But, it's just gonna go through me. It's gonna go through that hole," Fleming elaborated.
