Yesterday we reported that Hilary Duff wanted to do a duet with Harry Styles, but today we've caught wind that the One Direction heartthrob might have his eyes on another female artist: Kacey Musgraves. Styles took to Twitter yesterday afternoon to share his current guilty pleasure.
"It's impossible to listen to @KaceyMusgraves too much. Don't tell anyone," he wrote.
The "Follow Your Arrow" singer was confused as to whether this post was a compliment or an insult and replied, "Thank you?"
He later realized that his comment could've been taken the wrong way and added, "Actually, tell everyone."
As Radio.com points out, Styles isn't the first pop star to be a Musgraves fan. Katy Perry, who performed with the singer for CMT Crossroads, raved about the country singer to Billboard.
"From the moment I heard 'Merry Go Round' by Kacey Musgraves, I knew we were cut from the same songwriter's cloth," Perry stated. "I have been a fan and a friend of hers from the beginning, always championing her prolific songs every opportunity I get. To me, Kacey Musgraves is an artist that should be a household name because she offers a unique perspective with her writing style."
Maybe we'll see a One Direction/Kacey Musgraves collaboration in the near future. (Sorry Hilary!)
