will.I.am is known for a great number of things: producing, rapping, his extensive i.am brand and his sense in fashion. Now, the Black Eyed Peas member is looking to up his game in that fourth arena by releasing a line of eyewear.
According to XXL Magazine, will.I.am has teamed up with designer George Garrow to create lines of sunglasses and prescription frames, titled ill.i.optics.
will.I.am entering the eyewear game should be no real surprise to those who follow the artist. He's a noted glasses wearer himself, frequently showing up on red carpet events and in public wearing any sort of stylish frames.
In a teaser commercial for ill.i.optics, will.I.am explains how important style is to him.
"Style is just how you flaunt, it's expression. Your style is how your feeling, and allowing other people's creativity coming close to how you feel like," he says. He also mentions that releasing his eyewear line is an "honest" endeavor and that he's filling a hole in the glasses market as a "connoisseur" of spectacles.

will.I.am's eyewear line is very similar to what he can be seen sporting in public. Teased as "experimental eyewear" on its official website, ill.i.optics feature futuristic lines, bizarre shapes and unique lens shapes, for the will.I.am fan or fashionista in you.
The eyewear line doesn't seem to have a release date yet.
