A new Muse album is imminent, but we don't know much about it besides the title: World War 3.

Earlier this year, drummer Dom Howard told NME: "We're going to start this year... We're going to go back in May and start working on some new stuff, so I think we'll start making it this year... If we can get something out this year, that would be great, but definitely next year."

Frontman Matt Bellamy added: "I have this strong feeling that the next album should be something that really does strip away the additional things that we've experimented with on the last two albums, which is electronics, symphonics and orchestral work and all that kind of stuff."

Fans finally got another window into the new disc when Bellamy took to Twitter to answer questions from supporters.

During the session, he hinted that WW3 will include a sequel to "Origin of Symmetry," more guitar solos and themes of "deep ecology" and "the empathy gap."

The group's last release was 2012's The 2nd Law, which spawned a hit single ("Madness") and a world tour.
