Thomas was spotted flaunting her new rock when the Little Mix singer attended the premiere of One Direction's This Is Us and Zayn's reps have confirmed that the couple are, in fact. engaged.
"Zayn and Perrie are engaged, but any further detail regarding their relationship is private," said Zayn's representative, according to HollywoodLife.
Details of the engagement were revealed to The Mirror by an unnamed source.
"It was so romantic - Zayn popped the question over the weekend when they were alone together," the insider said.
"It's one of the first weekends they've spent with each other, as they've both been on tours with their bands. He wanted to wait for the perfect moment," the insider added. "All of [Perrie's] bandmates were at V Festival, and she couldn't wait to tell them. They're all really excited for her, as the rest of One Direction are for Zayn."
Even Perrie's mother couldn't stop gushing over the young couple.
"It's official. I'm over the moon. They are really in love," Perrie's mother, Debbie, recently told the Dorset Echonewspaper. "It's wonderful because Zayn is absolutely gorgeous. It's true they got engaged on Sunday and it's absolutely lovely. Perrie loves him to pieces and it's perfect. They get on so well together and understand each other. It's just fabulous."
