Earlier this month, Mary J. Blige announced the release of her forthcoming album The London Sessions, a few cuts from which have been released, and now she is unveiling its tracklist and cover.

According to Vibe, the 12-track album features collaborations with Sam Smith, Disclosure, Emile Sandé, Jimmy Napes, Naughty Boy, SAM ROMANS and Eg White.

Smith spoke on Blige's latest effort and the strength in her music.

"With my record — and when you think about Adele and Amy Winehouse and Ed Sheeran — we're not worried about the way we're looking, the way we're coming across in our music," he said. "We're just saying what's in our minds and in our hearts. Some people think that when you are singing about heartbreak, or how lonely you are, or how sad, that you are admitting to weakness.

"But I don't see that as weakness. I see that as strength — to be able to face your issues and your sadness head-on. That's what I've tried to do in my music, and I think that's what this Mary album is about — a fearless vulnerability."

This time around, fans can expect classic Blige but with a different spin.

"It's different, but it still has Mary J. Blige's DNA in it," she told Elvis Duran.

In a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of the album, Blige spoke highly of her time overseas and working to create a different sound.

"To work in these environments and to see these major superstars with all these No. 1 records — how can I describe it?" she said. "They're not full of themselves. They're just having fun, and it was just a pleasure. It was, like, so refreshing."
