Bob Seger previously announced a new album for October 14 and he won't wait too long until he gets on the road to tour in support of it. 

The "Ride Out" tour—don't worry; Ride Out is the name of the album as well, not a hint at this being his farewell—will kick off on November 19 in Saginaw, MI, north of the performer's hometown of Detroit. Right now the dates run through a February 27 gig in Los Angeles (although a venue hasn't been listed) but Seger's representatives suggested that more dates will be coming: They compared it to his 2006-'07 tour, which lasted nearly five months. 

The J. Geils Band is listed as being the opening act for most shows. Tickets go on sale on October 4 according to The Lansing State Journal (although fan club members can buy in a few days earlier). Check out the full list of announced dates (thus far) below:
