The new season of Saturday Night Live premieres this weekend with host Chris Pratt and musical guest Ariana Grande. In two new promo clips, the "Break Free" singer engages in some comedy with the Guardians of the Galaxy star, and she even shows the right side of her face (possibly in an attempt to dispel accusations of her being a diva.)

Pratt tells her he likes to work out to her music, and she says she like to fall asleep to his movies. Then he asks if she would like to translate their SNL announcement for Spanish-speaking viewers. "I'm actually Italian," she responds, with Chris mumbling something about pizza to cover his steps.

Grande will perform two songs of her latest, feature-heavy album My Everything. Her "Problem" collaborator Iggy Azalea is expected to perform on another episode later in the season, so she probably won't be a surprise guest. However, we're thinking Big Sean might make an appearance.

While prepping for the show this week, Pratt got to hear Grande's rehearsal and gave it a raving review.

"In the dressing room at #SNL hearing @ArianaGrande rehearse. Man. That girl can sing!!!! Like REALLY sing. You probably already knew that" he wrote.

Following Grande's SNL premiere, Maroon 5 is set to perform on the show next weekend with comedian Sarah Silverman as the guest. Then Irish rocker Hozier will take the stage the following weekend with host Bill Hader.
