If anyone knows about toeing the line between pop and country, it's Shania Twain.
The Canadian goddess recently told Entertainment Tonight that she's working on a new album, but she also discussed another country/pop star: Taylor Swift.
"I think that everybody should just follow their heart and do their artistic best, and just enjoy their creativity," Twain said. "[Taylor]'s a singer-songwriter-performer, she does it all, and I think that the world is her oyster, she's young and she needs to just do whatever she's having fun at and I think everybody's loving it."
As far as those new album details...
"I've been doing a lot of writing over the last year and I'm getting into the studio now," she said. "I'll spend this whole year making the album."
Swift, meanwhile, invited some fans over to her pad in Los Angeles this last weekend for a listening session of her upcoming album, 1989.

GossipCop claims there was not only a listening of the entire album, but also photos and homemade cookies.
Following the party, several of the fans took to social media to detail their experiences (or just rub it in our faces) and praise the "Shake It Off" singer.
The night was filled with Polaroids of the event, which can be seen through the hashtag #1989SecretSessions. Of course, you could just head over to Swift's TSwift LA tumblr for all of the photos.
