Noel Gallagher wants to give back to the community, so he decided the best way to do that would be to answer questions about Noel Gallagher.

The Oasis co-founder will hold An Evening with Noel Gallagher at London's Hammersmith Club Nov. 3. Essentially a Q&A session, the event will raise money for Global's Make Some Noise charity.

"Having rarely stopped blowing my own trumpet since April '94, it'll come as no surprise I jumped at the chance to let the people catch me at it again, so to speak, while at the same time raising a few bob for the kids," Gallagher said in a release. "It'll be a pleasure."

According to NME, Global's Make Some Noise is a new national charity that brings together people from the music world to help disadvantaged children and young people across the United Kingdom.

Gallagher helped release a reissue of Oasis's classic album (What's the Story) Morning Glory Monday.

Last week, the band's marketing department posted an original 1996 interview with Gallagher. Appearing stoned yet slightly earnest, the clip is a gem.

As Rolling Stone reported this summer, brother Liam Gallagher was not happy about the reissue for the band's debut Definitely, Maybe.

"HOW CAN YOU REMASTER SOMETHING THAT'S ALREADY [BEEN] MASTERED," he tweeted. "DONT BUY INTO IT. LET IT BE."

Noel Gallagher, on the other hand, was slightly more cheery about the idea.

"I'm proud of everything that we ever did," he told RS. "I mean, some songs are pretty s---, and there's a couple of periods you'd rather forget, but I think on the whole ... I think we made three great albums and four good ones, which is not bad out of eight. Kind of a 50 percent record. That's pretty good, I think."
