Gene Simmons may be a rich man but apparently eating off of the floor is totally NOT beneath him. Yes, it's true: the KISS frontman has absolutely no issue scrapping some dinner from a floor that millions of people have walked on before him.

In a video from TMZ, Simmons can be seen leaving an elevator at the Los Angeles International Airport, reportedly from Delta, and eating a burger from the terminal's Rock & Brews restaurant –– which is owned by? Yep, Gene Simmons!

While chowing down on the burger and entertaining the TMZ photogs who were around him, Simmons accidently dropped a bit of the sandwich on the ground. And, calling on the well-known Five Second Rule, he then simply picked up the fallen piece food and placed it back in his mouth ... all the while eating and chatting with the entertainment site.

We can only guess that the burgers at Rock & Brews have to be pretty, pretty good!

Once noticing what went down, the cameraman can be heard saying, "Oh, that was nice. It was on the ground!" Simmons calmly responds, "Five seconds. Five seconds."

Finally, after looking to have enough of an interruption during his "dinner," the bass player and singer interjects, "Ask me the question" –– ending in a way that only Gene Simmons could.

So, is the rock star really okay with eating off the floor, or was it all to show the public that Rock & Brews burgers are that good?
