Halloween decorations (and candy!) have been on sale in stores for a month now but it's officially October so Music Times feels comfortable discussing what you'll be doing Halloween night. Halloween is the second biggest holiday of the year for EDM (behind New Year's Eve) and you need to get on getting tickets fast if you want a spot at events helmed by the biggest DJ's in the world.

We've taken the Top 25 DJ's in the world (as listed by DJMag.com during 2013-the 2014 listings have yet to emerge) and mapped out where each is performing on Halloween. And what did we notice? For one, the Bay Area is going to be hopping in California. Two huge names will host events in Oakland (Skrillex and Alesso) while Markus Schulz sets down in San Jose for the night. And of course Las Vegas will be rocking as always: Tiësto, Deadmau5 and Nicky Romero will all play the strip on the big night. Calvin Harris will also be playing the Hakkasan, albeit one night before. The biggest event of the night will be San Benadino's Escape All Hallows Eve, which will play host to Afrojack, Dash Berlin and Aly & Fila.

Two of the Top 25 will be abroad for Halloween: Armin Van Buuren will be in the Czech Republic while Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike will be just south of him in Austria. It seems that a few big names, such as David Guetta and Axwell /\ Ingrosso will take the night off. But hey, if you're attending a private party where they'll be, throw us an invite!

One note: Although Avicii's site still claims he'll be playing at XS in Las Vegas on Halloween night, we believe that Deadmau5 will be taking his place, much like at Ultra earlier this year. The Swedish DJ cancelled all of his future dates due to exhaustion despite what his website lists.
