Lil' Kim recently stopped by BET's 106 & Park to promote her new 2014 mixtape Hardcore 2K14. While discussing her latest release, the Brooklyn femcee also opened up about her rap feud and possibly collaborating with Nicki Minaj.

Addressing comparisons to her rival Nicki Minaj, Kim said, "Imitation is the biggest form of flattery. That's why I tried to join forces."

Fans of the female rappers have been long waiting for a collaboration but Kim insists some sort of financial compensation has to be involved first.

"The Nicki situation cannot be fixed unless it's financial involved because it's deeper than that," she said.

She also went on to reveal that she had ties with the YMCMB camp at one point.

"People don't know the situation. Like I was over there working with [YMCMB]. [Lil Wayne's] song 'No Worries,' that was my producer [Detail] who produced that song. I brought him over there to that camp. They took everything from me."

When Ray J, who was guest hosting alongside Bow Wow's fiancée Erica Mena, pushed for a collaboration, she said, "It should happen at the right time, but respect is due. It ain't about no queen stuff."

However, she did say she's down to work with Remy Ma. "Me and Remy, we cool," Kim said.

Back in August, Remy discussed doing a "chick record."

"I think it would really be dope if we could get like a ill chick record with everybody who's doing what they're doing right now," she told Funkmaster Flex. "Me, maybe Iggy Azalea, Nicki [Minaj], like just do like a nice little collabo."

Before leaving the show, Lil' Kim promised to return with a video from Hard Core 2K14. Check out the entire interview below.
