Last month, Atlanta singer-rapper iLoveMakonnen performed during the Drake vs. Lil' Wayne tour. On the heels of his performance, he is back with new music, a Mike WiLL Made It-produced track called "Wishin' You Well."

While Makonnen has gained traction from his party hits, he is taking a different route this time, harmonizing about a love interest who left him.

No word on which project, if any, the track will be featured on. Mike WiLL is gearing up to release his Ransom mixtape, but apparently this song did not make the cut.

Mike WiLL first announced the mixtape in July, after releasing the single "Buy the World" featuring Lil' Wayne, Kendrick Lamar and Future.

Take a listen to "Wishin' You Well" after the jump:

Prior to the California leg of the Drake vs. Lil' Wayne tour, it was announced that YG would be joining the YMCMB rappers, but shortly after the announcement, the "My Hitta" rapper's performance was banned by the Los Angeles Police Department.

Nonetheless, iLoveMakonnen seemed excited about the opportunity, tweeting out "Dream come true!" along with a photo of his performance dates, but he is no stranger to the Drake vs. Lil' Wayne tour. Drizzy brought him out during the tour's Atlanta stop.

The Toronto rapper also announced he signed Makonnen to his roster after remixing his Internet hit "Tuesday."

In September, OVO Sound welcomed iLoveMakonnen with open arms, immediately promoting the signing on its Twitter and Instagram feeds. He joins the likes of Majid Jordan, PARTYNEXTDOOR and OB O'Brien.
