Saturday Night Live returns this weekend with Sarah Silverman (host) and Maroon 5 (musical guest).

As is custom, they all got together to shoot a humorous promotional video. You can see the jokes from a mile away (We get it: Adam Levine is hot) but the group strikes a fun moment at the end when they harmonize for a special "Animals" reprise.

Check it out:

Maroon 5 released the video for "Animals" last week, and they're already catching heat for its stalker theme.

In the clip, Levine displays several scary tendencies toward a secret crush (played by his real-life wife, Behati Prinsloo) including taking secret photographs, following her down the street and breaking into her apartment.

Naturally, this upset the Rape, Abuse and Incest National Network (RAINN).

According to Radio.com, the anti-sexual assault organization has condemned the music video and released the following statement:

"Maroon 5's video for 'Animals' is a dangerous depiction of a stalker's fantasy — and no one should ever confuse the criminal act of stalking with romance. The trivialization of these serious crimes, like stalking, should have no place in the entertainment industry. Survivors everywhere can get help 24/7 through the National Sexual Assault Hotline at 1-800-656-HOPE and online.rainn.org."

In more positive news, we reviewed the band's recent album, V, in our Junk Mail feature last month, and came away happy.

Our own Kyle Dowling was especially smitten with the new tracks:

I feel like Maroon 5 gets a lot of crap — perhaps because of their frontman — but in my opinion, V is a rather solid record. I liked most of the songs and couldn't help but also be impressed by Levine's vocals. I think the songs have great hooks and I'm also rather impressed by the production value. I like the way they went with this record. I dig!
