Nicki Minaj's latest single "Anaconda" from her forthcoming album The Pink Print has officially gone platinum. News of the record's milestone comes after a broken VEVO record and scandal over production credit with singer-songwriter Eric Bellinger.

According to XXL, Minaj announced her big accomplishment via Instagram along with the release of "Anaconda" on UK iTunes.

"Just released on UK iTunes and is now certified #Platinum in America #Anaconda #PolowDaDon #DaInternz @bigjuice205 on the boards baby!!!!!! #ThePinkPrint 11.24.14," Minaj captioned a photo of the single's artwork.

Back in August, Nicki Minaj released the visual for her booty-praising track. Following its release, the YMCMB femcee broke the VEVO record for the most-watched clip in 24 hours.

According to VEVO's official Twitter account, in its first day, "Anaconda" was watched 19.6 million times. Minaj beat the previous record set by Miley Cyrus, who racked up 19.3 million views of her naked Terry Richardson directed music video for "Wrecking Ball" in September 2013.

And following the video's release, the head of Barbz had a brief spat with Eric Bellinger over his contribution to the song.

Prior to the release of the single, Bellinger spoke with MTV News about the record calling it, "The realest turn up possible." Apparently, Nicki Minaj didn't like that Bellinger spoke out about the song before her, which prompted the YMCMB femcee to remove his production credit.

Minaj has made her displeasure with Bellinger public even taking to Twitter to throw some shade.

"There are only 2 producers on #Anaconda ~ Polow Da Don & Da Internz. No one else should be out here doing interviews about it. #ThirstyAss," she tweeted. The tweet has since been deleted.
