This year, as The Santa Train makes its 72nd journey, Grammy and Dove award winning artist Amy Grant will be aboard. The Santa Train makes an annual 110-mile ride through Kentucky, Virginia and Tennessee, making 14 stops and delivering over 15 tons of clothing, food, candy, toys and gifts to believers of all ages.

Santa Train volunteers search the crowd at each stop to give out bags that are color-coded, with each color representing children of a certain gender and age group, so that each child will get a gift that they'll love. Soft toys and candy are tossed from the back of the train.
