Several weekends ago, K-Pop star G-Dragon made headlines when he appeared alongside Missy Elliott at KCON to perform a track from his upcoming album "Coup d'Etat." The performance of "Niliria" set a high bar as to what can be expected from G-Dragon's second solo album, and his new music video for the title track demonstrates ambitions that are beyond simple.

First of all, the production marks another collaboration with American artists: Both Diplo and Bauuer worked on the beat to "Coup d'Etat." And as K-Pop tends to be big, so goes the instrumental for the track. The programmed rhythms can match the visuals for scope however.

As anyone familiar with "Gangnam Style" knows, K-Pop videos require absurd numbers of costume changes and equally absurd "themes," and "Coup d'Etat" has all of them. Such scenes include: G-Dragon in a shaky bell tower, G-Dragon surrounded by stuffed birds, G-Dragon literally boiling money, G-Dragon ripping his skin off...you get the idea.

YG Entertainment has released the full tracklist for the album, which will be released in full on September 13. Other Western collaborations will include German producer Boys Noize and vocalist Sky Ferreira. Check out the full tracklist below:
