Two weeks ago, British synthpop singer Charli XCX shared her punky new single "London Queen," and today she has premiered the song's lyric video over at Nylon. The video's cheap, colorful animation is reminiscent of those old point-and-click computer games from the late 1990s like Backyard Baseball, but it fits in well with the song's hyperactive melody. The lyrics are pretty confusing, though, so if someone can explain what it means to "feel like J.F.K." for "driving on the wrong side of the road," it would be greatly appreciated.

You can check out the lyric video for Charli XCX's "London Queen" over at Nylon right now.

"London Queen" is the third single to be shared from Charli XCX's upcoming studio album Sucker, following "Boom Clap" and "Break the Rules." Sucker is set for release Dec. 12, and according to a recent interview with Nylon, the album is "punk-inspired."

"It's definitely still a pop album," Charli promised, "but there are moments where it is raw and wild. I'm commenting on the music industry, the female body, the money, whereas before I mainly spoke about love. The record definitely feels better informed."
