Joel SmallBone, of for King & Country, and his fellow Christian musician, Moriah Peters, were married in California yesterday, July 7.

The couple has been together for over three years now and became officially engaged in the past few months.  They met at Joel's brother, Luke's, wedding and and now have just gotten married themselves.

On July 5, for King & Country tweeted, "Heading to California for Joel's wedding Who would've thought that they would meet at our wedding and now we're going to theirs! -L."

Then, on the day of the wedding the duo tweeted the scripture, "Now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love." (1 Cor. 13:13)

The couple decided to save their first kiss for their wedding day, something that tends to be very rare in this day and age.  This choice alone reflects the couple's love for God, and one another, beyond the bounds of the physical or material.

Moriah celebrated her upcoming wedding with an outdoor bridal shower on June 25.  The shower was also attended by other big names in Christian music such as Mandisa and Rebecca St. James (sister of Joel and Luke Smallbone).

Moriah and Joel have both remained fairly quiet about their relationship in the public eye, keeping their personal business personal and focusing on their personal careers.  Perhaps, now that they have tied the knot, they will be more actively involved in one another's careers and public lives.

For King & Country will be taking some time off from performing in order for Joel and his new wife to celebrate their new marriage, and will be returning to perform after about a 17-day period.
