The American Music Awards has continued to add on to its already sizable list of performers, specifically adding a number of acts representing the onetime Commonwealth: One Direction, Lorde and Stacy "Fergie" Ferguson were revealed to have live sets planned for the event, according to The Hollywood Reporter

Although One Direction and Lorde are among the biggest names in music right now, Fergie's performance may deserve more headlines. The performer hasn't dropped a single since her platinum 2006 release The Dutchess but will debut "L.A. Love (la la)," the first from a theoretical new solo album, at the AMAs.

One Direction deserve some coverage as well, as the group is reported to be performing new material from its album Four, due out on November 17. The UK boy band is also up for three actual awards, along with Lorde (nominated four times). Both will contend for the Artist of The Year award.

Other performers that have previously been announced for the November 23 broadcast include Sam Smith, Charli XCX, Pitbull and Mary J. Blige. More reports will be announced as we come closer to the date.

Pitbull will also appear not only as an emcee but as a master of ceremonies, hosting the event for the second straight year. The rapper's appearance last year went hand-in-hand with a large boost in viewers, and ABC has to be hoping that there's a correlation.

Iggy Azalea has the most nominations, with six, while John Legend, Katy Perry and Pharrell Williams all received five nominations.
