While Beyoncé has managed to infiltrate every aspect of pop culture, leaving many parents to view her as a decent role model for their young daughters, not every song she drops is appropriate for kids. Jackson, Mississippi, parents were recently shocked to realize that Bey's "Partition" was being played during a middle school football game by the band. A multitude of parents took to Facebook to complain while others seemed unfazed by the song's usage. A group of parents finally reached out to WAPT-TV, wanting to call broader attention to the fact that 13-year old kids were playing a song entirely about sex, and finally action was taken.

Jackson Public School District had a representative reach out to the public, apologizing to anyone who might have been offended by the song selection. They also aimed to reassure parents that better attention will be paid to song selection from this point on so there are no more questionable choices by any of the district's band members.

As for "Partition," Beyoncé's popular song has been banned from being played on the field at any upcoming district event.

First of all, don't you wonder what the school's reasoning was for selecting "Partition" in the first place to play while on the field? Of all the songs out there — or even of all the Beyoncé songs to choose from, why did they pick that one? As for banning it from school events, do you think a ban was really a necessary step for district leaders to take? Wouldn't just pulling it from the list of active songs have been enough to satisfy the parents who were initially offended?
