The two-day auction to obtain a rare Radiohead cassette ended this morning at 10:30 a.m. Radiohead fanatics with some cash to spare could bid for the On A Friday (the band's previous name) cassette for about $1,588 to $2,382. The U.K.-based auctioneer wrote that the unreleased material from 1986 was, "[a] holy grail for Radiohead and Music collectors, the only known copy to exist." The cassette ended up selling for £2,000 (roughly $3,175). The identity of the buyer is unknown.
