It's been almost a year since Solange dropped her Dev Hynes-produced EP, "True." Today, Solange dropped the Creators Project-produced video for her midtempo ballad, "Lovers In The Parking Lot," which she co-directed with Peter J. Brant and Emily Kai Bock.
The video shows Solange dancing through run-down commercial spaces and a Houston-area mall after closing time. She is wearing shimmering outfits and sneakers with light-up laces as she makes her way through hallways and past kiosks. Her friends Bun B and Mannie Fresh join her soulful escapade for a few synchronized steps.
Solange is currently in the studio working on her first full-length album and will be playing in Brooklyn's Barclay's Center on Friday. Her fall tour also makes stops in Brazil and Australia.
